I’m all about setting a beautiful scene to host guests, but I’m also all about setting one to stare at all year ’round! Here are a few tips and tricks for tablescaping that have elevated every look I’ve done!

1. Lots of Layers

Layers look good! When thinking about your tableware, always think about the height. Make use of tall glasses and short glasses. It adds so much dimension to the look! However, keep in mind the functionality of it. You don’t want things too high that you can’t see or talk across the table!

2. Mix the Colors

The plates you choose don’t have to match. So, mix it up! It creates a collected and interesting look. In my opinion, everything that matches perfectly throughout a space looks a bit boring!

3. Incorporate Texture

Add in some greenery and florals. I love to use individual salt wells! One time I put pink Himalayan salt into a pink salt well and it made for such a fun little detail! Take time to think about these little details because it adds color and texture that’s so interesting! I love when napkins have any flower or dried floral on top-spice it up! If you want to be really fun, you can get linen tablecloth, pretty markers and have everyone write what they’re thankful for on the tablecloth every year so the memories grow!

Get creative with it! It makes for such an enjoyable space and happy faces around the entire table!
