Hello all! I hope you all had a fun and relaxing holiday! I’m snuggled up on my couch recapping all of the art seen on Bargain Mansions! Our mansions are huuuggeee and I’m glad we have some fantastic artists willing to help fill our homes with gorgeous pieces! Artwork is one of those things that makes all of the difference in a home. It takes your house from basic to bold and tells a story of who you are as a person by the artwork you choose. I think there is no wrong answer when you’re choosing at art!
There are so many talented artists out there that do incredible work and I love showing off people’s amazing abilities. We have some insanely skilled artists that I find on instagram and local galleries. I am fortunate enough to have great relationships with our artists and the ability to find amazing artwork in my city. I love that you use local artists. One thing I’ve found to be a fun experiment — if you’re on a budget — is do your own artwork. I’ve painted a few canvases over the years and they’re not too bad. The good news is you can change it up if you don’t love it or crave something new and it won’t break the budget. I love love love all of the artwork you use in your redesigns. You have a gift for color and texture that brings a room together!
