How To Get Started
Prospective Client Questionnaire
We strive to provide all of our clients with an exceptional design experience! We would love to hear about your project to determine if Tamara Day Design is the best fit for you. To start the consideration process, please complete the Client Questionnaire below.
Consultation
Next, we’ll schedule a consultation with Tamara or a trusted member of her design team either at our Design Center or in the client’s home. This consultation is a way for you and the designer to evaluate whether this project is a good fit. The designer spends time discussing your design style and vision, and talking through budget and timeline.
Project Acceptance & Proposal
After the consultation, we will determine if and how we are able to move forward with your project. If you and the designer agree to proceed, a retainer will be required to secure our design services on your project. The designer will then schedule an in-home visit. Following the in-home visit, the designer will get to work and provide a project proposal with mood boards, product suggestions and option for 3D renderings.
Ongoing Support
Once the proposal is approved, the designer will support the project through completion. It is important to know that Tamara Day Design is NOT its own general contractor. We do work hand-in-hand with contractors to execute project remodels. You can choose your own contractor, or we’re happy to provide suggestions.
