My clients Claire and Lluis purchased a gorgeous home on a golf course. With the help of my team and me, we turned this into their forever home.

Exterior

I really wanted this house to ‘pop’ from the street. We updated the exterior by painting the brick white and the trim a contrasting gray. It gives the house the perfect updated timeless look.

Kitchen

This was a tricky spot. The original kitchen had super green countertops that we were initially going to try and work with. We painted all of the cabinets a gorgeous sage green, but once we saw them next to the green tops, I knew it could be so much better! The white marble tops, fun backsplash, and brass accents check all the boxes.

Mud Room

This space is right off the garage and opens up into the kitchen. We wanted to make sure there was ample storage and the flooring was durable to be a drop-all. Since you can see the space from the kitchen, we used the same cabinet color to make it feel like an extension of the kitchen. The wallpaper ties in the green and gives an outdoor feel to the space. 

Living Room

Since this house had great bones, we really just needed to refresh this space. We took down the dated wood paneling, painted the fireplace a bright white, and the wood beams black to ground the room. 

Laundry Room

I love making laundry rooms super fun. We went with tile floors that are super durable so they don’t need to worry about any leaks or detergent spills. The wallpaper we put in here was so beautiful with amazing texture. The trim and ceiling color tied the space together. 

Powder Bath

Light: White with Aged Brass Transitional Pendant

This may win the award for the cutest powder bath ever. I love how the bead board, light, and wallpaper all play off each other. 

Main Bedroom

Anyone that knows me knows I’m always freezing! The fireplace in the main bedroom is such a luxury and I have to admit I did find myself cozying up next to it during breaks. This is the perfect room for Claire and Lluis to unwind at the end of a busy day.

Main Bathroom

This bathroom was so much fun to design. I really like using classic tiles in unexpected, new ways. We used two colors of penny tiles for the flooring to add interest to the space. In the shower, we used a beautiful white subway tile. I really love incorporating gold schluter in unexpected ways. We tied everything together by using schluter on the floor and in the shower. 

This house was so fun to design. I know Claire and Lluis will love this home for many, many years!
